Abstract:
By using the excitonic structure of colloidal semiconductor core−shell quantum dots (CSQDs) reported in the reference J. Phys. Chem. A 122, 9910−9921 (2018), a simple model of the photoluminescence decay is introduced. The model considers rate equations describing acoustic and optical phonon-assisted optical transitions. The simulation energy relaxation for small ZnTe/ZnSe CSQD is compared with the experimental reports.
