Abstract:
The study focuses on the influence of the number of control points on the quality of radiotherapy plans performed with the VMAT irradiation technique for 15 patients with pelvic cancers. For all patients present in this study, plans using 100 and 125 control points, respectively, were made for all patients. Following the quantitative and qualitative evaluation, the plans using 125 control points showed a better fulfillment of the set objectives (95%
