Abstract:
A statistical analysis is performed based on the results yielded by a theoretical model of an ultraheavy diquark scalar decaying into two vectorlike quarks with a 6-jet final state at the LHC. The study is done for the mass of the Suu scalar in the range of 7.0-8.5 TeV, with the most promising results at around 8.0 TeV. The exclusion limit and the discovery p-values have been computed. Preliminary results show that locally, the discovery potential is similar to the one obtained by the CMS Collaboration, although for a different final state of the process.
