Abstract: The mass of the Z 0 boson has been reconstructed from the decay channel Z 0 → e− e+ using the L3 and ATLAS cards in Delphes, to model the detectors’ response. The events have been generated with Pythia8, utilizing no initial/final state radiation and multi-parton interactions in the pp collisions. The reconstructed dielectron mass agrees with the current world-average value within 0.03% for L3, while the value is higher for ATLAS due to the nature of the collisions.
