Abstract:
A low-noise charge sensitive amplifier has been designed and built to be used in conjunction with a Hamamatsu S6775 PIN diode.
The design of the two-stage amplifier is presented and consequently discussed.
A particular attention has been paid to ensure a good signal-to-noise ratio and a fast rise time.
