Abstract:
The purpose of this paper is to analyze the solar activity cycle, from the point of view of the evolution in time of Unipolar Magnetic Fields (UMR). In fact, we study the fractal dimension of Giant Cells (UMR) using the Carrington Rotation for a period of 11 years. Also, we can make observation of evolution of magnetic fields for a solar cycle. A fractal dimension analysis helps us to do this observation. We observed that exist a difference between fractal dimension for a year of minimum activity and the fractal dimension for a year of maximum. We have a lot of ways to study the solar cycle, but is important to compare this results obtained in different ways and after we can have a image about evolution of UMR, magnetic fields and solar cycle.
