Abstract:
ZnO thin films were deposited by pulsed laser deposition (PLD) technique on optical glass substrate. They were optically characterized by absorption and transmission spectrometry and photoluminescence. The wavelength dependence of the refractive index was extracted from transmission data by using Swanepoel’s method. Photoluminescence spectra show a relatively large emission band at 2.40 eV.
