In the field of wireless digital communications a new digital mode based on digital signal processing (DSP) theory appeared being optimized for person-to-person (chat) communications.
The PSK31 digital mode is experimentally used today in the Amateur Radio area.
We shall by turns analyze the advantages and disadvantages of this mode as compared to some others digital modes used in wireless technology.
We shall present some theoretical remarks about modulation and demodulation of PSK signals, as well as the mode of coding information.
Finally we shall demonstrate live the wireless connection between two terminals using the PSK31 digital mode.
