Abstract:
Recent experimental results (Nuclear Physics A757(2005)1-274) suggest that in Au-Au collisions at maximum energy of the Relativistic Heavy Ion Collider from Brookhaven National Laboratory (USA) a new phase of the nuclear matter has been observed, namely: the quark-gluon plasma. A liquid state of the new phase is assumed at this energy. Different attempts to find new ways in describing the new phase and its state have been done. In this report we can use parameters and conditions for equilibrated and non-equilibrated “classical” plasmas in the tentative to describe the new state of the nuclear matter: quark-gluon plasma. Changing in the definition relationships, according with the different nature of the interactions in the two kinds of plasma have be done. Interesting results are obtained. They are in agreement with the assumption of a quark-gluon plasma in liquid state for Au-Au collisions at maximum RHIC-BNL energy.
