Abstract:
The experimental results obtained by the four major experiments from the RHIC BNL (USA) confirm the hypothesis of the quark-gluon plasma formation in Au-Au collisions at the maximum RHIC energy (200 A GeV in the center of mass system). The main predictions are related to the formation of a quark-gluon plasma in liquid state. This new liquid type is almost a perfect liquid. In the present work we try to present the major BRAHMS Experiment results on the formation of this new state of the nuclear matter (nuclear modification factor behavior, high p_T suppression, antiparticle to particle ratios, elliptic flow, as well as and some possible ways in the estimation of the viscosity. A new way in the estimation of the viscosity based on the collision geometry and phenomenology is included in this work. Small value of the viscosity are reported.
