Abstract:
The viscoelastic behaviour of an elastomere, silicon rubber, was studied by experimental and theoretical methods. Characteristic parameters as: the creep and the relaxation functions, the storage modulus and the loss modulus were determined by creep and multi fold cyclic deformations. A generalized mechanical model was proposed in view to descrie the real viscoelastic behaviour. The equivalence between the two methods was verified by comparing the results obtained by this ways. Experimental results are in a good agreement with the proposed theoretical model. References 1. J.D. Terry, Viscoelastic Properties of Polymers, John Wiley & Sons Inc., New York, 1970. 2. L.M.
