Abstract:
Small antennas are necessary for leaving enough space for modern multimedia applications in mobile devices, and multiband antennas are important for reducing the number of separate devices that work on different bands. In order to match theses goals our idea is to use fractal design. Based on the early experience in this field we analyse the difficulties of obtaining good antennas, knowing that fractal antennas have no formulas for computing the working characteristics. Our effort of simulating different geometries gives us some hints about direction to be used in order to optimize the characteristics
