Abstract:
The slow solar wind is a continuous flux of charged particles that are ejected from the Sun`s corona. Coronal jets are proposed as a possible source candidate. A sample of events, from an existing catalog was analyzed, and ejected jet mass has been estimated.First results are now presented. In the future all the catalog will be analysed, in order to obtain the average jet particle flux. The results will be compared with other measurements in order to assess the total coronal jet contribution to the slow solar wind flux.
