Abstract: The atomic bomb marked the history of many cities causing a lot of material, human and moral damages. Hiroshima, Nagasaki are two names definitely entered in the mankind history. Their sad celebrity is explained through the fact that they were the first targets of an atomic assault.
The Nagasaki and Hiroshima cities, like the whole planet, remained astonished and grieved after the American attacks. The pain and the fear of the people remained alive and cannot be translated into words.
The subject of atomic bomb can be treated from many points of view: chemically - the composition of the atomic bomb; physically - the nuclear reactions which are produced; historically - the importance of the events and the circumstances in which the bombs were launched;psychologically - the determined impact on the people; biologically - the diseases generated and the transformations produced by the radiations in the normal function of the living organisms.
This work contains very interesting informatioçn about the two atomic bombs: ’Little Boy’ and ’Fat Man’ which were launched at Hiroshima and Nagasaki.
The work treats this subject because it has a major importance in forming the personality of the teenagers. In this way they will stop only for a few minutes from being selfish and rude with the people around, because, as Francois Mauriac said, on 10-th of August 1945, after the announce of the events from Hiroshima: “the world knows that the matter can disappear in the day in which a man, maybe a single one, will take by himself such a decision”.
