Abstract:
A green roof, by definition, is a landscaped area of artificial structures, more complicated than simply placed on a roof garden, in a multilayer system, which is a continuation of the house. The green roofs are an alternative to reduce " the Hot Island effect " in a city. This contribution analyze a series of local parameters at Faculty of Physics and elaborate a technical solution for a green roof which takes in account different renewable energy sources, type of biomass, hydrosystems for the water management, in a sustainable concept and zero emission environment.
