Abstract:
Professor Alexandru Mihul turned 85 on the First of June. In his very long scientific career, Professor Mihul has made major contributions in experimental physics at high energy, starting from the pioneering works in thorium fission induced by muons, as member of the team that put in evidence the existence of one of the first antibaryons, up to the last participations in the L3 experiment at LEP in CERN and Alpha Magnetic Spectrometer (AMS-01) Collaboration. These contributions are evoked from my point of view.
