Abstract:
Polymer crystallization is a fundamental process influencing the mechanical and thermal properties of polymer-based materials. Accurate modeling of this process is essential for optimizing manufacturing techniques and improving material performance. This study presents a computational framework that integrates the Avrami equation to predict the crystallization kinetics in polymers. We present simulation models that adapts the classical Avrami equation to various cooling rates and crystallization conditions, providing a versatile tool for predicting polymer behavior under different processing scenarios for both sporadic and instantaneous nucleation.
