Abstract: In this study, 10 patients with cervical cancer were evaluated by brachytherapy in order to analyze the following parameters: coverage index (CI), relative dose homogeneity index (DHI), overdose volume index (ODI) and dose non-uniformity ratio (DNR) . Each patient underwent 2/3 sessions of interstitial needle brachytherapy for better coverage of the tumor volume. The conclusion of this study was that for some patients, the interstitial parameters were not in the desired range because the organs received different doses during the external radiotherapy.
